He is a member of  The Law Society, the Solicitors' Association of Higher Court Advocates (SAHCA), Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (ILPA), which is a professional association, the majority of whose members are barristers, solicitors and advocates practising in all aspects of immigration, asylum and nationality law. Mubasher Khan is also professionally accredited by The Law Society as a Senior Immigration and Asylum caseworker.

Mubasher Khan is experienced in dealing with both business and private clients in relation to disputes involving breach of contract, negligence claims including professional negligence, landlord & tenant disputes and all aspects of personal injury. She is also a very experienced immigration practitioner and appears regularly at both the first-tier and upper-tier Immigration Tribunal.
